FinanceSathi ("the app") is an independent app developed by Sagar Chapagain ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the app handles your information. In short: FinanceSathi runs offline and collects nothing.

Information we collect

None. FinanceSathi needs no account or sign-in. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to your information.

Your calculations and content

The numbers you type into a calculator are processed on your device to show a result and are not sent anywhere. Any reading preferences you set in the offline Finance Acts library (such as bookmarks or text size) are stored only on your device.

Not financial or legal advice

FinanceSathi's calculators and act texts are provided for general information and estimation only, and may not reflect the most current rules. They are not financial, tax, or legal advice. Always confirm important figures with a qualified professional or the official source. FinanceSathi is not affiliated with any government body.

Third-party services

FinanceSathi does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and it works fully offline. If a future version introduces any such service, this policy will be updated to describe exactly what it collects before that version is released.

Data retention & deletion

Any locally saved preferences live on your device. Deleting the app, or clearing its data in your device settings, permanently removes them.

Children's privacy

FinanceSathi is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.

Security

Your data never leaves your device through the app, so its security is governed by your device's own protections.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
