Privacy Policy — PocketKit
Last updated: 12 July 2026
PocketKit ("the app") is an independent app developed by Sagar Chapagain ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the app handles your information. In short: PocketKit is local-first — it keeps your data on your device and collects nothing.
Information we collect
None. PocketKit does not require an account, sign-in, or any personal details to use. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to your information.
Data you create in the app
Anything you enter — medicines and dose schedules, calculator history, BMI and weight entries, rent agreements and payments, vehicle and service records — is stored only on your device. It is not uploaded to us or to any server, and we cannot see it.
If you use the built-in backup/export feature, PocketKit produces a plain text backup that you control and choose where to keep. We never receive it.
Permissions
PocketKit uses only what it needs to store your data locally on the device. It does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, or microphone.
Third-party services
PocketKit does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and it works fully offline. If a future version introduces any such service, this policy will be updated to describe exactly what it collects before that version is released.
Data retention & deletion
Because your data lives on your device, you are in control of it. Deleting the app, or clearing its data in your device settings, permanently removes everything PocketKit has stored.
Children's privacy
PocketKit is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
Security
Your data never leaves your device through the app, so its security is governed by your device's own protections (screen lock, encryption, etc.).
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
