Converter ("the app") is an independent app developed by Sagar Chapagain ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the app handles your information. In short: Converter works entirely offline. It has no accounts, collects no personal data, and sends nothing anywhere.

Information we collect

None. Converter does not require an account, sign-in, or any personal details to use. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to your information.

What the app keeps on your device

So that it opens the way you left it, the app remembers a few settings: the units you last used in each converter, the entries you pin, your own home order, and your theme and layout choices. They are stored only on your device. They are not uploaded to us or to any server, and we cannot see them.

The home-screen widget works out today's Bikram Sambat date on your phone. It reads nothing about you and sends nothing anywhere.

Permissions

Converter does not ask for access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, files or notifications, and the app makes no network connections of its own.

Opening the privacy policy, the terms, or any other link hands off to your browser. What happens after that is between you and your browser.

Third-party services

Converter does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and it works fully offline. If a future version introduces any such service, this policy will be updated to describe exactly what it collects before that version is released.

Data retention & deletion

Because everything lives on your device, you are in control of it. Deleting the app, or clearing its data in your device settings, permanently removes everything Converter has stored.

Children's privacy

Converter is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.

Security

Nothing leaves your device through the app, so the security of what it stores is governed by your device's own protections (screen lock, encryption, etc.).

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
