Terms of Use · Converter
Last updated: 16 October 2026
These terms apply to Converter ("the app"), an independent app developed by Sagar Chapagain ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. They are short because the app is free, has no accounts, and collects nothing.
Using the app
You may use Converter for any lawful purpose, personal or professional, free of charge. You may not copy, modify, redistribute or resell the app itself, or present it as your own.
Accuracy
Conversion factors follow internationally published definitions, and every one is checked against reference values before release. Traditional Nepali land and customary units are converted using their standard published equivalents, but local surveying practice can vary. Dates are converted using published Bikram Sambat calendar tables, within the range of years the app supports.
Confirm any figure that carries legal or financial weight, such as the area on a land deed, a survey, or a contract, against an official measurement before you rely on it.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise that it will be error-free or always available.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the app or from relying on a result it shows.
Not affiliated with any authority
Converter is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any government body, survey or land office, calendar authority, or standards organisation.
Your privacy
How the app handles your information is described in the privacy policy. In short, it collects nothing.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
